The Shops at Stonefield
2100 Hydraulic Road
“WE THE PEOPLE ARE ANGRY. This isn’t just a moment—it’s a movement. A strategy. We’re not asking for permission—we’re demanding change.”
As many in the local community will be directly impacted by the devastating cuts in Trump’s morally obscene bill—cuts that strip vital services like healthcare and nutrition from the poor and working class just to benefit those who already have everything—protests alone are not enough. We’re committed to taking action that uplifts the people hit hardest by this fascist regime. Donations will be collected for one of the community’s most essential programs: the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
There will be a table set up to support The Majority Project by Signs of Justice—a powerful, coordinated campaign to flood Congress with 12 million postcards, showing that the true majority of Americans stand for justice and equity, and not the extremist agenda the far right is pushing which doesn’t reflect the will of the people.
“Our rage is not reckless. It’s righteous. It’s peaceful, but it is not passive. We do not break, nor do we break others. We build a power the regime cannot contain. We refuse to let our anger burn us out, it only lights the way forward.”
Attendees are encouraged to:
Bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB) to support local families in need.
Write a postcard to your representative, reminding they have been elected to represent their constituents and will be held accountable for their actions
Carpool or take Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT), which offers free rides, to reduce traffic and support sustainability.
