Have you ever seen members of Indivisible Charlottesville's Safety Team at protests or rallies, with their vests and radios? Maybe you've wondered what's involved, or said to yourself "Hey, I'd like to volunteer for that." Well, now's your chance!

We are offering Community Safety Training* on Saturday, August 29th, 10-11:30am, in downtown Charlottesville.**

Participants will learn basic principles of community safety, practice de-escalation skills, and prepare to be part of the safety team at community actions and events. Come join us, and bring a trusted friend or two.

Coffee and bagels will be provided (because hey! it's Saturday morning!). Donations welcome but not required.
