Join the parade on the Downtown Mall; and connect with Indivisible Charlottesville and other local nonprofits at the Ting Pavilion. The City Hall Annex’s Election Office will be open until 5:00 PM. Charlottesville City residents can come by the fair, and then go to the Annex to cast your vote!

Jazz Parade for Democracy | Downtown Mall | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Featuring interactive movement with Keep Going Together, the Wonderground, the Charlottesville Women’s Choir and local jazz musicians, this interactive parade unfolds in three acts:

• Act 1: Mourning – A solemn procession from Ting Pavilion, with Lady Liberty chained, mourning America’s lost values.

• Act 2: Revival – Liberty is freed as music and protest awaken hope and collective strength.

• Act 3: Celebration – A joyful march back to Ting Pavilion, uniting everyone in song, dance, and democratic spirit.

Musicians of all levels are invited to play along with John D’earth and friends in the Jazz Parade — show up at Ting at 2:30pm with your instruments!

Democracy Fair | Ting Pavilion | 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local nonprofits who provide vital services to our community, hear from local leaders, and enjoy face painting. Speakers (listed below) will start at 4 PM.

You are invited to bring nonperishable food and personal hygiene items for Food Not Bombs and winterwear for The Haven. Those who donate will be entered into a community raffle.
