We’ll gather at the Free Speech Wall at NOON. Then we’ll march to Booker T. Washington Park for an afternoon MAY DAY SOLIDARITY CELEBRATION (Music & Food, Kid’s Activities, Community).
This is a national campaign—we are joining communities across the country in building our capacity to be STRIKE READY in case a general strike is needed.

This welcome and orientation for new (and returning) members, is designed to provide you with some basic information about the Indivisible Charlottesville organization, connect with each other, and explore ways to get involved.
Hosted by Indivisible Charlottesville, Congregate Charlottesville, and Charlottesville DSA, the People’s Activist Series is an opportunity to learn more about using people power to fight fascism. We will explore how to use symbolic actions and strategic noncooperation while organizing to keep our community safe.
