We are proud to claim Michael Payne for City Council and Sally Hudson as “Indivisibles" running for office. Join us the weekend before primary election day as we pair up and knock doors of potential Democratic voters to help spread the word about these two fantastic candidates.
Michael Payne is one of the cofounders of Indivisible Charlottesville and a candidate for Charlottesville City Council. You’ve heard him speak about the environment and racial justice at many of our rallies and forums. Michael cares deeply about our local community and knows the issues inside and out. We know he will fight to make housing more affordable, work for equity and opportunity in public education, support a citywide living wage and transition our city to clean energy!
Sally Hudson is a teacher, economist, and organizer who has been defending democracy with Indivisible Charlottesville since the beginning. Now she is running for Virginia House of Delegates in the 57th District. Sally has put in the hours: helping to organize events such as March for our Lives, and Families Belong Together, as well as writing postcards and knocking doors right alongside us. We are sending her to Richmond because we know she will work to end corporate control of state government, fund public education, create a statewide public option for health care, and make Virginia a leader in fighting climate change.
Please RSVP “Going” on our Facebook event page here if you plan to attend so we know how many people to expect.
