If you've got questions about how the General Assembly works, you're not alone! We'll demystify the process and learn more together about what we can expect in the upcoming 2020 legislative session. We'll hear from local groups with experience pushing legislation through and get plugged in to local and statewide efforts to pass progressive legislation up for consideration this session (ERA, Redistricting, Green New Deal, etc). Finally, our state legislators Sally Hudson and Creigh Deeds will be in attendance to share their perspectives on how we can work with them and use our citizen power to finally get the progressive change we want!
