Witnessing ICE activity, and recording it, is within our rights and serves many purposes. We can deter ICE from kidnapping or assault. We can show solidarity with neighbors being harmed. We can document what is happening to our neighbors so their legal team can better find them and bring them home. Come practice these skills, reflect on what might hold you back, and prepare to go one step further into discomfort the next time these dangers come around.
