This session will provide an opportunity to reflect on the role of whiteness in our lives and in America’s political system. How has white supremacy prevented democracy and brought us to this moment in history? What will it take for us to undo racial capitalism and build an actual democratic society?

Hosted by Indivisible Charlottesville, Congregate Charlottesville, and Charlottesville DSA, the People’s Activist Series is an opportunity to learn more about using people power to fight fascism. This summer this series is weekly at Visible Records, starting with a potluck dinner before the workshop. Every Monday, 6:00-8:00pm, from June 1 to August 17.
