  • Decide how you will engage in activism and find roles that excite you

  • Welcome new folks to join our activist communities

  • Protect yourself and each other at protests and other activist events

  • Work together to make plans and take action against fascism

Growing Our Movements: Using Elections to Build Mass Power

To fight authoritarianism, we need to do more than win elections. We need to grow mass movements – which means bringing in more and more people with everything we do. Ahead of the Virginia elections in November, let’s talk about how we can use election-focused organizing to bring folks into our social justice movements, deepen our relationships, and expand our networks. Beyond winning this election, we want to win a future in which our dreams come true – in a thriving, anti-oppressive, inclusive democratic society.
