In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Our movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
No Kings is a nonviolent nationwide day of action against authoritarianism and corruption. It’s a powerful expression of our shared values and a show of solidarity with our local community members as well those across the country who are united in building a pluralist, democratic future.
In support of those goals, at Stonefield on October 18th No Kings attendees will have the opportunity to:
donate to the Central Virginia Community Support Fund, which raises money to free Virginians from ICE detention by paying their bond so they can return to their communities;
bring nonperishable foods and personal hygiene items for the Emergency Food Network, a barrier-free food bank serving members of our community in need;
participate in simple movement to joyful protest music with Keep Going Together.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
Coming from Charlottesville? Consider taking public transportation. The CAT has two routes (7 & 8) that come out to Stonefield!
